The Format Painter feature in Microsoft Excel enables you to copy the formatting from one cell to other cells in your worksheet. 

You can copy all of the data formatting such as currency, date and percentage. You can also copy font formatting such as size, color and alignment. Cell colors and borders can also be copied, but Excel does not copy the row height or the column width of the cells.
