By studying the code in the right pane, you can see how Excel commands can be specified by text, not just by recording. To find out the syntax (text form) of an Excel action, simply record it. You will find that being able to edit the macro code allows you to create macros that can do anything that Excel can do, including things that are difficult to record. For example, in the present macro, you could change the relative references to absolute references.
